How do I Add the Static FBML Application to my Page?

Facebook Pages are fairly standard.  They pretty much all look alike.  If you want yours to be different, you need Static FBML.  With Static FBML, you can create a new, custom box for your page with enhanced features.   You can add images, music, video, just about anything you like.

Static FBML is not a WYSIWYG editor.  I don't recommend you use this feature unless you have some experience writing web pages.

To add the Static FBML application to your page:

1. Go to the Static FBML application page.
2. Click the Add to Page button.  That takes you to another window where you must choose which page to add the application to.  
3. Select the desired page.  (Keep in mind, if you don't administer any pages you won't see any listed here, and you won't be able to install Static FBML.)
4. Click on the Add Static FBML button.  You're done.  The application is now available for use on your page.
5. You can verify the application was added has been added if you:

• Go to your Facebook page (not your profile, your page).
• Click on the Plus Sign tab (see example below).
• Click on FBML 1.
• That will add a new FBML 1 tab and will add the application to your page.
